Participants should be present at the Main
Shelter House in Centennial Park at 9:15 a.m. to
check-in. Contest Judging starts at 9:30 a.m.
Each participant is required to submit 1 pie for
judging in a disposable pie dish. All slices not
required for judging become property of the
Boyden Bash Committee.*NO REGISTRATIONS THE
DAY OF EVENT. 1st & 2nd
Place in each category will be awarded
immediately following the judging. Please
submit a recipe card with your brownie recipe.
Register your apple pie in one of 2 different
categories: 1)
Classic Apple Pie:
A plain and simple traditional apple pie. No
other main ingredients allowed., or 2)
All Other Apple Pies:
included in this category are pies with applies
and other fruit, etc. (i.e. Apple Rhubarb, Apple
Cherry, Sour Cream Apple, etc.). When using the
form, the "Other" field name should be used to
further describe your pie.
Enter as often as you choose. Use one form
submission for each pie you enter.
1) All entries must be homemade, no mixes or
pre-made crusts; 2) Pies must be served at room
temperature; cannot require refrigeration; 3) We
are not responsible for broken or lost items;
and 4) recipe must accompany your entry. |

By my signature below, and in consideration of the participation in
the 2011 Boyden Bash Celebration, I do waive and release and do
absolve the City of Boyden, the Boyden Park Board, the Boyden
Community Club and all individual members thereof, all employees or
agents of the City of Boyden, the Park Board and the Boyden
Community Club, and any other individual responsible for directing,
conducting or otherwise involved in the 2011 Boyden Bash
Celebration, from any liability for any cause of action, claim or
demand of any nature which might arise in conjunction with the
participation in the 2011 Boyden Bash Celebration. It is my/our
intention that this waiver apply as well to my heirs, assigns,
executors and administrators.Furthermore, I/we do here agree to
indemnify and hold harmless the same persons and entities from
liability under any cause of action, claim or demand including, but
not limited to loss of consortium or loss of support, made by my
spouse, children or any other person as a result of, arising out of,
or in conjunction with any injury resulting from or in connection
with the 2011 Boyden Bash Celebration. This agreement shall also be
binding upon my heirs, assigns, executors and administrators.
It is further
understood by putting my name in the following form and accepting
one or the other option, it will constitute my formal written
signature, whether I am an adult, or yet to be of age, the full
understanding of this waiver to participate in Boyden Bash events. |
